2017 CAASPP Scores

The California Department of Education has released the 2017 scores for the online California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) tests.

While the overall CAASPP results for Twin Rivers do not reflect the gains we anticipated, our students are making real progress. Dry Creek, Hazel Strauch and Ridgepoint elementary schools have achieved sustained academic growth over a three-year period in both English Language Arts (ELA) and math. Several other schools made substantial gains—10 percent in ELA at Castori Elementary, 9 percent in math at Woodlake and 6 percent in ELA and math at Babcock. That's significant, and our students and families need to see more gains like this at every grade level across the district in both ELA and math. We will continue to work diligently to reach and motivate all students to learn to their potential.
