Robyn McKenzie, Cafe Services Team Leader I
Robyn is an outstanding employee who goes above and beyond to help our students in so many ways. She not only ensures that our children receive nutritious food but that it is also delicious! She knows each child by name and mentors many of our students every day. Robyn steps in with grace and flexibility to accommodate the needs of our school, whether it is special events or strategies to help families. Staff share that Robyn always has a smile and positive attitude when you walk into her clean kitchen. She is an asset to Hillsdale school and our community. (Note: Robyn was also selected to represent Sacramento County in CDE's selection process.)
Charles (Charlie) McGimsey, IT User Support Technician Sr.
Charlie is always positive and works to solve every problem as quickly as possible. It's great to have someone so dependable. Charlie is our technology hero. Faster than a speeding megabyte, Charlie is there in a flash when technology gremlins are invading our site. He shows up at our site every day to save the day. He arrives quickly with a smile on his face to help with even the smallest of problems.
Irina Manzyuk, Translator Interpreter
Irina is a stellar, dedicated employee, providing excellent customer service to our sites and her colleagues. She serves as a liaison between non-English speaking parents and the schools their children attend. Meetings with these parents would be very difficult without Irina's consistent dedication to provide quality services to our families. Irina's skills as a translator are critical to the success of the English Learner Department and the district.
Sandra Braff, Academic Intervention Specialist Bilingual Sr.
Sandra is the total team player and goes above and beyond in helping kids on a daily basis. She is the hub of all student workings at Foothill Ranch Middle. She has that "X" factor when it comes to connecting with students, families and staff, which is so important in our work. Sandra is the main connection point for parents and the school, leading the Safe School Ambassador program, participating in home visitations, helping with parent conferences and translating for school activities. Sandra has a heart of gold and we are so very lucky to work with such a fantastic human being!
Congratulations to all of our District Employees of the Year!
